Frequently asked questions.

A quick guide to lessons, payments, privacy, and getting help.

Do some instructors teach through an avatar?

Yes. Some Vervalio instructors teach live through a Live2D or 3D avatar instead of appearing on camera. They appear in the same catalog as every other instructor. Any future AI-led lesson will be labeled clearly.

Do I need an account for the Korean level test?

No. You can finish the short test before signing in. Afterward, create an account or sign in with email or Google to save the result and use it for instructor recommendations.

How do lesson credits work?

Each available lesson shows its credit cost. Credits are deducted only when a booking is confirmed. Purchases are fulfilled only after Vervalio verifies the payment provider event.

Can I cancel a lesson and get my credits back?

Student self-service cancellation normally closes 24 hours before the lesson and returns the lesson credits when it is allowed. Exceptions and payment refunds follow the published Cancellation and Refund policies.

Which time zone are lesson times shown in?

Vervalio uses the IANA time zone saved on your account. Your browser can set it automatically, and a manually selected account time zone takes priority.

How do I join a lesson?

A Google Meet entry button appears for a confirmed lesson when its room is ready. Entry opens 10 minutes before class, and the first valid entry records that the lesson started.

What is included in an AI review?

When you opt in and a lesson transcript is available, Vervalio can create a conversation summary, grounded corrections, vocabulary, useful expressions, pronunciation guidance when supported by evidence, and homework for the next lesson.

Are recording and AI processing the same consent?

No. Recording, transcript retention, and AI processing are separate choices. You can withdraw AI processing or delete a retained transcript while keeping a completed learning review available.

How do I report a safety, lesson, billing, privacy, or account issue?

Use the Support page while signed in. You can attach a lesson, follow the case status, and read the public response. For immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service first.
