1. Using Vervalio
Vervalio provides live Korean conversation lessons, booking tools, credit purchases, and optional AI-assisted lesson reviews. You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your account secure, and use the service only for lawful learning purposes.
Google sign-in and Google Calendar access are separate. A student may receive and use an instructor-owned Google Meet link without connecting Calendar, and a student's Calendar lesson copy is optional. An instructor must connect the Google account that will own the instructor's lesson events and Meet rooms before opening availability or accepting bookings.
A parent or guardian must approve use where local law requires it. Instructors and students must not record, redistribute, harass, impersonate, or attempt to access another person's lesson or account without permission.
2. Credits, bookings, and cancellations
Credits are a limited service balance used to reserve eligible lessons. They are not cash, a bank balance, or transferable property. The credit cost and applicable price are shown before checkout or booking.
Referral or promotional credits may be available during configured campaigns. Eligibility can require a genuinely new account and a verified first purchase. If that qualifying purchase is fully refunded, the related rewards may be removed from both accounts. If either balance is too low, the removal is held for administrative review and may be retried or waived with an audit record. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fabricated activity, or attempts to manipulate a campaign may be rejected or reviewed.
A booking is confirmed only after the service accepts it and deducts the required credits. Student self-service cancellation normally closes 24 hours before the lesson. The current refund and cancellation rules are described in the Refund Policy and may be supplemented by mandatory local law.
3. Lessons and AI reviews
Instructor availability, lesson content, and learning outcomes vary. AI reviews may contain mistakes and are learning aids, not professional, legal, medical, or immigration advice. Important information should be checked independently.
Before each booking, the AI review choice is optional and starts unchecked. Selecting it authorizes transcript creation from an otherwise permitted source and AI review processing for that lesson; for a weekly series, the choice applies separately to every lesson booked in the series. Recording and retention of raw transcript text after processing remain disabled unless separately enabled later.
Withdrawing AI processing consent stops future processing for that lesson and removes stored raw transcript text as described in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal does not make earlier consented processing unlawful, and an already-completed structured review may remain available unless deletion is legally required.
4. Service integrity
We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in fraud, payment disputes, abuse, security threats, prohibited content, or repeated disruption of lessons. We may also change or discontinue features, while honoring rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Third-party services such as identity, calendar, meeting, payment, AI, storage, and email providers have their own terms and availability. Vervalio is not responsible for outages outside its reasonable control.
5. Ownership and feedback
Vervalio and its licensors retain rights in the service, branding, software, and provided materials. You retain rights in content you submit and grant us the limited permission needed to operate the requested service. You must have the right to submit that content.
Feedback may be used to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you, but it will not override our privacy commitments.
6. Final launch details
Vervalio is operated by Sominom. Service questions may be sent to [email protected], and privacy requests to [email protected]. These terms are governed by Korea, subject always to mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
Launch notice
These terms are a product and policy draft. The operating entity, contacts, governing law, required consumer notices, and jurisdiction-specific terms must be configured where applicable and reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.
